Job Description

The Opportunity

The Instrumentation & Electrical Supervisor will oversee instrumentation and electrical repair for all equipment at the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Oversee work on all types of instrumentation and electrical systems used for the control and powering of equipment, machinery and facility. To verify that all work is accomplished in accordance with code, regulations and safety rules.
  • Order equipment required for instrumentation and electrical repairs.
  • Operate Facility Asset Management (FAM) System for all equipment to include the tracking of labor and materials.
  • Supervise I&E crew and oversee jobs.
  • Assist Management & Engineers with the Project Management that includes any Instrumentation and Electrical requirements.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Possess a Houston Journeyman's Electrical License or equivalent (journeyman's license with 4 years documented field experience).
  • 2+ years general supervisor experience, preferably in a plant or industrial setting.
  • 2+ years working with DCS/HMI and ladder logic systems.
