What You'll Do

We have an exciting project in store for our Golf Marketing Intern this summer.

What is the project?

The primary project for the golf marketing intern would be to analyze all product data in PIM, review industry best practices and develop a plan to streamline the integration process of information to UDP/CDP platforms and the secondary project would focus on activating both digital and in-store marketing plans, as well as tracking key programs to ensure targets are reached.

Here are a few tasks that fall under each project:

Product Data Management

  • Assist with reviewing product content in PIM and checking the flow to UDP and CDP
  • Review Wilson.com to ensure product is available and merchandised correctly
  • Create weekly D2C reports to capture top selling products and provide visibility of email and search performance

Product Marketing Support

  • Build product toolkits
  • Assist with inputting projects into WMJ
  • Gather information from Commercial / PLM's / Sales to keep marketing calendar up to date
  • Assist sales force with marketing needs - product images/toolkits support
  • Track key programs (WAS/Triad program) with the support from Sales Planner and distribute reports
  • Training administration and execution - setup teachable videos and track completion of product training for WAS/account partners
  • Gather insights from sales to ensure marketing provides all tools needed for custom / demo days

What We're Looking For

  • Working towards a degree in the following disciplines: Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Sports or Business Management.
  • Background in golf (played on high school team) along with general knowledge of golf industry/equipment.
  • Strong Writing Abilities, Proficient in Excel.
  • Detail Oriented.
  • Strong Communication Skills.
  • Self-Starter.
  • Strong Project Management Skills.
