Job Title: Associate Laboratory Technician
Duration: 06+ months

Location: WElkhorn, NE 68022
Pay rate range: $20-$23/hr
Shift :8AM-5PM EST


Qualifications:
Education Minimum Requirement:
* High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
* Formal education in a technical-scientific discipline preferred

Required Experience and Skills:
* Ability to work successfully in a team-oriented environment and coordinate multiple projects.
* Ability to effectively follow procedural guidelines.
* Strong computer skills with excellent communication and writing skills.

Preferred Experience and Skills:
* One to three years of experience in a biologic laboratory setting.
* Ability to support the troubleshooting of assay issues with a solid scientific foundation.
* Ability to successfully assume/complete additional technical responsibilities with little supervision.

Responsibilities:
The Quality Control Technician position is available at our Animal Health facility in Elkhorn, Nebraska, located on the West end of Omaha.
* Under general supervision, this position assists professional laboratory personnel by performing routine test media preparation, test sample distribution, laboratory equipment cleaning/sterilization, instrument calibrations, laboratory notebook maintenance and other duties as assigned.
* Reviews internal documents against regulatory requirements for accuracy and compliance.
* The equipment used includes but is not limited to: microscopes, centrifuges, dry ovens, pipettes, pipette aids, syringes, laminar flow hoods, balances, autoclaves, freezers, coolers, liquid nitrogen, etc.
