Summary/Primary Purpose: Position is responsible for management of stewardship and marketing efforts for the Planned Giving (PG) Department. This position plays a crucial role in solidify long-term interest in and continued commitment to the mission of TSA. Marketing efforts ensure donors and prospects are well acquainted with their role in the future of TSA mission.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Engage donors and their professional advisors in regular communication and correspondence, engaging other development staff as appropriate.
  • Develop and implement an effective communication plan to planning advisors to include the Red Shield Symposium (in-person estate-planning webcast) as well as other annual outreach and engagement activities, including implementation of the Council of Hope membership and Red Shield Awards.
  • Develop and help identify donor cultivation and stewardship opportunities and other events.
  • Manage the Planned Giving gift acknowledgement process including generating letters and reviewing reporting.
  • Implementation of the Hope Brigade planned gift donor recognition.
  • Create and distribute Gift and Estate Planning marketing materials (e.g., mailings, newsletters, social media, collateral materials) coordinating with the marketing team as appropriate.
  • Provide information to the territorial legal department so Western estate gifts are monitored, tracked, recorded, and distributed in an accurate and timely manner, coordinating internal reporting.
  • Provide administrative support to the Planned Giving department as needed, including recording marketing responses in Salesforce.
  • This role may be required to work evenings, weekends or holidays as directed.
  • This role may be required occasionally to travel.
  • Driving is an essential function of the position.
  • All other duties as assigned.
