What You Will Do to Change Lives

The Regional Clinical Trainer plans, develops, coordinates, implements, and evaluates educational and clinical programs.

Shifts Available:

Full Time; Salaried; 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Monday - Friday

Expected starting wage range $77,486.76 - $100,762.48. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)
  • Licensed or licensed eligible for: LICSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC with OR/WA State OR Certification in Rehab/Creative Arts Therapy.
  • Master's Degree in social sciences.
  • One (1) year of full-time experience planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs in a psychiatric setting
  • Two (2) years of experience developing and managing projects
  • Two (2) years of experience developing training programs
  • Two (2) years facilitating in-person and virtual training
  • Medical knowledge and experience in mental health and the recovery philosophy is necessary
  • Current knowledge of the laws and regulations governing the delivery of health care in Region and demonstrable understanding of Behavioral Health are essential

Essential Functions of the Role
  • Demonstrate the Telecare mission, purpose, values and beliefs in everyday language and contact with the internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to corporate training efforts, as defined by the Director of Clinical Learning and VP(s) of Operations managing customer contract
  • Develop in-person and virtual trainings that are learner-centered and performance-based training(s) for use by multiple facilities -- including trainer manual, participant handouts/guide, graphic materials, and PPT
  • Consult with Operation Leaders in the region to support their understanding of and compliance with all related state, federal and local licensing regulations and requirements relating to staff learning
  • Draft a 12-month Training Plan and training schedule for approval and implementation by the Director of Clinical Learning
  • Faciliate three - four (3-4) training days each week based on the annual regional training calendar (for all contract-funded trainings and learning events), based on goals and framework established by the Director of Clinical Learning
  • Organize, plan and implement educational programs as directed (including internal and external trainers), according to an annual Training Plan and customer requirements
  • Ensure regular and timely reminders of training opportunities are provided to program and staff
  • Maintain records and reports within Relias LMS (learning management system) of all staff education that has been provided
  • Partner with and coach Program Staff and Leadership to develop and provide training
  • Conduct training and skills building at designated facilities that meet the Corporate, CARF, and DMH requirements
  • Within the first three (3) months become a certified CPI instructor
  • Participate in developing a regional crisis de-escalation training (including CPI) and other regional trainings for employees across Telecare facilities in the identified region
  • Participate on Staff Development Team and Standardization meetings
  • Assist with presentations in standardization meetings, which may involve travel
  • Assist in training at other Telecare facilities in identified region, which may involve travel
  • Develop and deliver regionally-based trainings (such as but not limited to New Employee Orientation and CPI) for employees across Telecare facilities
