Peraton is looking for a Project Manager (Tech) to join us in supporting USSTRATCOM on the ITCC II program. In this role, you'll serve as a key member of the Engineering team providing technical project management expertise for USSTRATCOM Expansion Projects.

What you will do;

Responsible for technical/operational leadership of a project/mission or group of projects/missions within the programmatic guidelines set by the program manager and customer.
• Defines, generates, and reviews project requirements documentation.
• Performs technical studies to refine project requirements
• Monitors project to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained.
• Provides the coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensures all necessary reviews and approvals are received.
• May conduct performance/project analyses during phase-down to benefit future/other projects/missions/programs.
• Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects.
• Takes projects from original concept through final implementation.
• Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services.
• Defines project scope and objectives.
• Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
• Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
• Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
• Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.
• Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
• Participates in driving initiatives for achieving established objectives.

What you will need:

• BS and 5-7 years experience, MS and 3-5 years experience, or PhD and 0-2 years experience
• TS/SCI security clearance

Desired certifications:

• Information Assurance Technical Level II (or higher) certification (e.g., Security + CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP)
• ITIL Foundations
• PMP and/or SCRUM Master
