Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Kutak Rock LLP is seeking an experienced associate attorney to join the firm's corporate department in its Omaha office. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), securities, and/or general corporate matters.
QUALIFICATIONS: Skills and Abilities
  • Strong analytical reasoning skills
  • Ability to review, analyze, and draft complex documents accurately and efficiently
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and tasks simultaneously and to complete tasks efficiently, effectively, and in a timely manner
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Ability to competently and professionally communicate with clients and supervising attorneys
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet deadlines
  • Excellent organizational and matter management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work professionally and collaboratively with partners, associates, and support staff
  • Ability to work effectively with large working groups as part of a transaction team
  • Desire to actively engage in client development activities
QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience
  • Law degree (JD) from an ABA accredited law school
  • Currently admitted, or eligible for admission, in Nebraska
  • 2+ years of relevant transactional experience
