We are looking for a mission driven Traditional Behavioral Health Therapist to join our team! The Traditional Behavioral Health Therapist is responsible for coordinating and providing mental health care within the clinics and via telehealth. The Behavioral Health Therapist may be working in conjunction with the primary care provider and psychiatrist to help the patient achieve his or her treatment goals. The Behavioral Health Therapist will complete initial diagnostic evaluations at the start of treatment and provide evidence-based treatments in the context of individual and family therapy sessions. In addition, the Behavioral Health Therapist will manage a patient caseload to effectively keep patients engaged in treatment, carry out and review treatment plans and discharge patients appropriately. Following six months of consistent employment, and in accordance with clinic demand - therapists may discuss the option of having one to two work from home days with their supervisor.

This is a full-time position located on our main campus (30th & L). The schedule will be 40 hours per week; generally, Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Master's degree from an accredited clinical training program in counseling, marriage and family therapy, or social work required.

- Must be licensed or license-eligible in Nebraska to provide clinical mental health services. Must maintain appropriate certifications (e.g. LCSW, LIMHP, LMFT, or LICSW.)

- Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) ideal to provide specialty services.

- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office products are required. Experience with NextGen or other Electronic Health Records preferred.

- Proficiency in English is required; proficiency in Spanish is preferred.

- Comfort and experience working with mental health and substance abuse populations, across the life cycle, are preferred.

- Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, practicing in an integrated health care setting providing time-limited consultations in collaboration with PCPs.,

- Demonstrated ability to relate with warmth and effectiveness to the patients and other health care providers of the OneWorld Community Health Centers.

- Favorable professional references are required.
