ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
1. Establish new customer accounts by following the assigned process. Determine if drop-ship account is necessary and then create as needed.
2. Utilize and navigate the CRM (Customer Relationship Manager) system, Shipping Portals, Streck.com, and SharePoint.
3. Utilize and understand the Weekly Hematology and Daily Inventory sheets, as well as vial availability.
4. Process orders by e-mail, electronic interchange (EDI), or phone, confirm as necessary, and file them accurately.
5. Understand warehouse locations and shipping guidelines.
6. Contact customers as needed and answer calls from customers to provide support as requested.
7. Handle all error reports as needed and generate paperwork for any necessary returns, replacements, credits, or other account information.
8. Maintain accounts and orders within the system including cancellations and changes.
9. Understand and perform basic customer care responsibilities and tasks (i.e., process credit cards, reprint invoices, etc.).
10. Process instrument placements including demonstrations, purchases, and service agreements.
11. Provide limited support to the Sales, Distribution, Accounting, and Technical Service departments.
12. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or department manager.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
* High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Two to four years of college preferred.
* Two to three years of customer service experience required.
* Must be dependable, well organized, able to manage time and responsibilities, and be able to communicate effectively and efficiently, both orally and in writing.
* General knowledge of computers and software applications i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. along with basic keyboarding skills are essential.
* Must possess good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
* Knowledge of and ability to operate general office machines, equipment, and computer software.
* Ability to speak and write effectively, clearly, and grammatically correct.
* Ability to analyze data and reach conclusions.
* Ability to type 40 wpm on the computer.
* Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
